TOUR TO GEORGIA AND ARMENIA, FOR 6 DAYS

Georgia and Armenia are two Caucasian countries, neighbors, but they are so different. Let`s check it?

Day 1

We will acquaint you with the capital of Georgia - Tbilisi and the first ancient capital - Mtskheta. You will see:

• tour of Tbilisi by car to show you the whole city and its main attractions;

• then, you will find the famous monastery of Jvari , from where you can see an amazing view of Mtskheta. The monastery keeps a medieval history, starting from the VI century AD;
• city ​​- Mtskheta - the ancient city of Georgia, founded in the V century BC, also called "Second Jerusalem", because there are many holy and cult places there;
• Svetitskhoveli Cathedral - is the spiritual center of Christian Georgia and the largest of the country's ancient buildings;
• operating female monastery of Samtavro, built on the site where St. Nino lived;
• operating monastery of Shio-Mgvime, which was founded in the VI century by one of the 13 holy Assyrian fathers - Shio;

Day 2

We will go to the mountains, the city of Gudauri. On the way we will see:

• amazingly beautiful views of the Zhinval water reservoir;
• a perfectly preserved historical object of the era of early feudalism – Ananuri fortress;
• the homeland of khinkali - the village of Pasanauri, where we will see two unique rivers, the White and the Black Aragvi, which merge into a common channel, but their light and dark waters do not mix at the same time;
• Dizzying views from the Gudaur viewpoint will not leave anyone indifferent. It is very beautiful in all seasons!
• Next, we are expecting the pride of Georgia - the ski resort of Gudauri

Day 3

Day for self-time. The hotel is located in the very center of Tbilisi, so you can easily get to interesting places: the old town, souvenir shops, wineries ...

In the evening you will find a culinary master class. It will be held in our own marana (wine cellar) of our hotel. Together with our chef we will cook Khachapuri, shish kebab in Georgian, bake your own puri bread in the oven and be sure to understand Georgian sauces and seasonings.

Then we will eat all this under the hearty Georgian toasts with the home wine of 7 years old!

The next two days to be an exciting trip to Armenia

Day 4

We leave hospitable Georgia and go to the border with the amazing Armenia. Passage of the border usually does not take very long.

To the note: for the entire territory of Armenia is characterized by a complex structure of relief, it gives its landscapes a peculiar charm. 90% of the territory of Armenia is raised above 1000 m above sea level, over 3000 km of mountain ranges stain its territory.

Then, after a long journey, we will stop in the resort town of Dilijan, where there is everything that the tourist needs: picturesque streets, beautiful nature around with mountains, forests and lakes and historical sights that you can admire. Therefore, a walk around this city will be very pleasant.

Next, we will get to the high-mountainous Lake Sevan, where we will admire the transparent waters of the largest freshwater lake in the world. You will have the opportunity to taste a shish kebab from the famous Sevan whitefish or crayfish.

In the evening we will arrive in Yerevan, settlement in the hotel.

Day 5

Acquaintance with Yerevan. It is known as a city of roses and attracts travelers with its magnificent scenery. Sightseeing tour of the city begins with a visit Cascade - is a mega-ladder 500 meters and a width of 50 meters. From here you can see the opera, Mount Ararat, the Yerevan swan lake, the Republic Square and Abovyan Street, which we will definitely go through later. If our trip is on a day off, we will stop at Vernissage - a well-known market of souvenirs and antiques.

Continuation of the excursion to the Cathedral of Etchmiadzin, which is the residence of the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Day 6
